3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH. The server location used for this website is Germany.

When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed. This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested URL or file, referrer URL, browser and operating system information, transferred data volume and HTTP status code.

The processing is necessary to provide the website securely and reliably, to detect errors and to prevent attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of this website. Log data is stored only as long as required for security, troubleshooting and legal documentation obligations.

4. Contact by contact form, email or telephone

This website provides a general contact form and a careers application form. It does not currently use a newsletter, online appointment booking or WhatsApp integration.

The contact form processes your first and last name, email address, optional telephone number, preferred location, type of request, message and confirmation that you have acknowledged this privacy policy. If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide and the content of your request.

Depending on the request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual matters, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries. Our legitimate interest is the proper handling of incoming enquiries.

If you provide health data required for appointment scheduling or treatment, processing may take place in the context of health care on the basis of Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with the applicable national rules. Please do not send extensive medical documents by unencrypted email.

Contact form submissions are sent to the configured recipient through our email service provider and are not permanently stored by the website application. Access within the practice is limited to persons who need the information to handle the request. Contact enquiries are deleted once they have been finally processed and no statutory retention, documentation or evidence obligations require further storage.

5. Applications via the application form

If you apply through the careers section, we process the data you provide in the form: first name, last name, email address, optional telephone number, selected job, optional message, the confirmation that you have acknowledged this privacy policy and uploaded application documents, including the required CV and optional further documents.

The purpose of processing is to receive, review and respond to your application and to carry out the application process. The legal basis is Section 26(1) BDSG. Please do not include special categories of personal data that are not required for the application. If such data must exceptionally be processed, this will only take place under the applicable statutory requirements, including Section 26(3) BDSG and Art. 9 GDPR.

Application documents are validated server-side and sent through our email service provider to the configured application recipient. The website application does not permanently store uploaded files; temporary upload files are discarded by the server after processing.

Application data is deleted when it is no longer required for the application process and no legal retention or evidence obligations apply. As a rule, deletion takes place no later than six months after completion of the application process. Inclusion in an applicant pool takes place only with separate, voluntary consent, which may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

6. Website search

When you use the website search, the entered search term, selected language and technical request data are transmitted to our server. The query is evaluated server-side against a local search index. No search term is sent to an external search provider.

The website application does not create user profiles or permanently store a separate search history. Because search terms are transmitted in the requested URL, they may temporarily be included together with the IP address and other connection data in the server log files described above.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide a useful website search and operate it securely. Please do not enter personal, medical or other confidential information in the search field.

7. Cookies, local storage and consent management

We do not currently use analytics or marketing tracking services such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, and we do not currently embed Instagram, Facebook, YouTube or similar social media content.

8. Google Maps

Google Maps is loaded only after you have allowed external content in the cookie settings. Until then, no Google Maps iframe is loaded by the website.

After consent, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google. Google may process your IP address, technical browser and device data, the referring URL at domain level and possibly cookies or similar identifiers. Processing outside the EU/EEA, particularly in the United States, may occur.

9. Google reviews

Google reviews are retrieved server-side via the Google Places API and delivered to your browser by our server. No Google script or Google review widget is loaded in your browser for the display of reviews, and no Google cookies are required for this display.

Displayed review data may include the public author name, a link to the Google profile, rating, relative time description and review text. The review text is shortened before delivery. The local cache is refreshed regularly and is not retained for more than seven days.

If you click a link to Google or Google Maps, you leave our website and Google is responsible for the subsequent processing.

10. External links and social media profiles

This website contains ordinary links to external Google and Facebook pages. No social media plugin is loaded merely by displaying these links. Only when you click a link does your browser connect directly to the respective provider, which may then process your IP address, browser and device data, the referring page and possible identifiers under its own responsibility.

11. Recipients

Recipients of personal data may include the persons within our practice who are responsible for handling enquiries or applications, our hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH and our email service provider IONOS SE. Data is only disclosed to further recipients if this is legally permitted, legally required or based on your consent.

12. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
